Well we are continuing our adventure and are hopefully on our way to IUI #3. I started meds and shots Saturday. They changed up my shots just a little so it’s hard to predict the timeline for this cycle. Because I have PCOS, they are really cautious to not up the shot dosage too much and end up with too many follicles. The plan for now is to follow the med schedule and go back on the 4th for another ultrasound to see how the meds have worked. They will be able to see how many follicles are growing and how big they are. Then they will come up with a med plan and decide when to come back. Typically it’s a few more days of shots, another monitoring appointment, and the IUI a few days later. But one step at a time. Fingers crossed these meds and shots do their job!
I also want to say thank you to everyone for their support. For all the likes, comments, and messages- we really appreciate you all. I’ve always said that sharing our story makes it all feel more normal; like it’s not something that’s wrong or something we need to hide. Sharing really has helped to get through this last year and a half. Hopefully one day our adventure will bring us good news to share with you all.
